Hi, I’m Mary Jane Walsh, and I started DPDRrecovery.com to support my clients on their healing journey. I am deeply passionate about providing strategic coaching tools and support to people in the DPDR community.
During the 10 years that I struggled with DPDR, I went to so many doctors and went into $10,000 of credit card debt trying to find a solution. I kept hitting walls and nothing worked for me.
Looking back on the years I was 17-27 when I had DPDR, I have very few pictures and very few memories during that time. Overall, it just feels like a blank time when I didn’t experience much of anything except anxiety, sadness, fear, emptiness, and most of all, extreme loneliness. I wish I had known what I know today because I look back and feel like I was absent for ten years of my life.
In the end, I recovered because I learned a few different tools that worked for me, and then developed a much bigger toolkit to be able to help others.
